How to reach Andaman islands?

You can reach Andaman by Air or Sea. The best and the shortest way is to fly down to Port Blair. The island is well connected with the major Indian cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Vizag and Bangalore. There are only a few direct flights to Andaman from Delhi (Air India) and Mumbai (Indigo). Rest all flight are connecting via Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Vizag and Chennai.

Directs flights are available from Kolkata, Chennai, Bhubaneswar and Vizag and takes approximately 2 hours to reach Port Blair.

Ships 🚢

You can also take the sea route to reach Port Blair. It takes up to 3 to 4 days to reach Andaman and the tours take place 3-4 times every month, from Kolkata, Chennai & Vizag.
