Hello fellow travellers! Last month, on a fine sunny day, Meenakshi and I found ourselves in the Golden State, California. We decided to spend a day in the famous Wine Country, Sonoma.
We found a tiny Bavarian-style village nestled in the Cascade mountains of Washington State, Leavenworth. Being close to Seattle, Leavenworth is an ideal weekend getaway. One day is not enough to explore this place. However, if you’re up for a day trip, here’s a list of things you can do at Leavenworth.
Capitol Hill is home to some of the trendiest and most interesting restaurants in Seattle and in June 2020, the neighborhood welcomed ‘Biang Biang Noodles’, a delightful and spacious restaurant dishing up freshly made Xi’an style hand pulled noodles.
If you have ever wandered along Colaba Causeway, chances are you have hit this 90 year old iconic restaurant, Cafe Mondegar. Step in and you will be greeted by the cafe’s upbeat atmosphere, retro vibe and huge murals on the walls, courtesy Mario Miranda, Mumbai’s favorite cartoonist.
