After exploring the two gems of UAE, it was time to dive into the cultural capital, Sharjah. The third-largest city of UAE is slowly gaining its popularity among the tourists. Just like its neighbouring emirates, Sharjah is an abode to beautiful beaches and brilliant architecture thriving upon the rich culture. Half-a-day doesn’t do justice to this place. However, with time the limited time that we had, here’s what we did.

Al Mamzar beach

The Al Mamzar beach is a blend of white sandy beach, coral water and swaying palm trees. We took a quick stop by the beach to admire its beauty and calmness before heading to the city. However, if you have a day or so in hand. You can spend some time on the beachside, enjoy a barbeque lunch or snorkel in the ocean.

Ahmad Bin Hanbal Mosque, Sharjah library and Cultural Palace are few of the iconic buildings that you will come across that are an essential part of Sharjah’s heritage. We took a photo stop to admire the beauty of Islamic architecture.

If you have more to spend then head to the Sharjah mosque (Al Noor Mosque) to admire the stunning architecture and shop your heart out at Blue Souk.
