There are always two sides of every Jim Corbett trip. Either you see a tiger or you don’t. Most of the blogs that I read claim to see one, but what happens when you don’t see a tiger? This was my question when I came back to Delhi with a half-done adventure! Here is a list of few things that I felt after visiting Jim Corbett National Park that may prepare you for your trip without feeling disappointed.

The land – Khasra No 258 spills out the Parisian scent from every nook. This hidden gem is known as ‘Champa Gali’ is located in the Lane no.3 of Saidulajab (a village in Saket). A few years back this place used to be a poultry shed, which is now been transformed into a Parisian passageway all thanks to Mr Jiten Suchede. His stunning carpentry and tea stall (Jugmug Thela) led to the rise of Champa Gali.

“Heaven on Earth” is what people call Kashmir. The princely state lies in the north most part of India residing in the lap of Himalayas. You cannot just visit and see places in Kashmir, you need to feel the beauty and experience them to get the true essence of this place. If you find yourself in Kashmir for the first time, just follow this itinerary to experience every inch of the heaven.

Located in the heart of the city and running by the side of a 12 km long ridge resides the Mall Road of Shimla. This is the most popular place for the tourists and the busiest commercial area of the city. The mall has everything from hotels to restaurants, heritage buildings to museums, handicraft to antiques. A complete day would be less to explore this amazing place.

Shopaholic’s haven is what I call this fair. It is the largest craft fair in the world and certainly the perfect blend of colours, fun and joy.

The Surajkund Crafts Mela is an annual festival that starts from 2nd of February. Every year they have a special theme state and an international partner nation. Uttar Pradesh was this year’s theme state. The state presented the best of their art, craft and culture to the audience. Millions of people come to witness the grandness of the fair.
