I’m a huge animal lover, no matter what the animal is. I love petting them uncontrollably or simply admiring them from afar (especially the wild ones). This led me to seek out cafés and stores with resident cats and dogs, places where you can pet them or at least watch their antics. And I’m happy to say I found a few in Seattle that you’ll love, especially if you’re a cat person.

Food lovers! Get ready to tantalize your taste buds. Seattle’s University District is a gastronomic playground offering diverse food at affordable prices. From hidden gems dishing out lip-smacking Asian and Mediterranean flavors to fancy Bubble Tea spots, there’s something for every craving. So why settle for mediocre meals when you can sink your teeth into the delectable food scene at U-District?

Right in the heart of Madison Park, Seattle, next to the sprawling Washington Arboretum, is a hidden gem, Arosa Cafe. The cafe was founded in the early 90s by a European gentleman who named it after the scenic alpine village of Arosa in Switzerland. However, for the past eight years, Arosa Cafe has been owned and run by Cesar and Adriana Santangelo, a super foodie couple who moved from Venezuela to Seattle in 2003. They are genuinely passionate about creating connections, good food, and community, and it comes through very vividly at the cafe.
