Greenr Cafe

Greenr-cafe

If you’re a fan of rustic wooden furniture topped with beautiful plants, books and filament lighting, then this is the place for you. I have visited this cafe a couple of times and have loved my dining experience each time. The Greenr Cafe serves vegetarian food. However, they have a delight for the meat lovers in the form of Tuscan Shroom Balls and Truffle oil Pizza that is a must-have for all. Great place to sit and have long conversations with your boo and devour the delicacies.

My Rating: 4/5
Cost for 2: 1000 INR
Location: 32nd Avenue Gurugram

The Pasta Bowl Company

The Pasta Bowl Company is a picturesque cafe that specialises in Italian cuisine. Vintage style chandeliers, hanging off the wooden ceiling, large windows, a beautiful wine rack, printed seats and an open kitchen. Yes, I am overly mesmerised by the decor! Nevertheless, the food is also delicious. I’ve had one of the best firewood thin crust Pizzas here. Plus the staff is very courteous which is a cherry on the top.

My Rating: 4/5
Cost for 2: 1200 INR
Location: 2nd Floor, Cross Point Mall, DLF Phase 4, Gurugram

Music & Mountains – Hillside Cafe

music-and-mountain-cafe

As the name suggests, the cafe will undoubtedly transport you to the hills. Great for a peaceful candlelight dinner with your boo. The aura is very calm and pleasing. Every nook and corner screams out vintage vibes with distressed wooded furniture, metal candle stands, black and white photographs on the wall and a stone fireplace. Although this is a multi-cuisine restaurant, it is majorly known for its Italian delights, especially the Mushroom Ravioli.

My Rating: 5/5
Cost for 2: 1500 INR

Chateau De Pondichery

If you and your SO love to experiment with food, then try the lip-smacking Franco-Tamil cuisine at Chateau De Pondichery, and be ready to get transported to Pondicherry. The place has an energetic vibe and striking interiors. You can read my detailed dining experience here.

Cost for 2: 1500 INR

Diggin

Diggin cafe Chanakyapuri

Diggin is one of the most popular cafes in Delhi known for its beautiful decor. Beautiful is an understatement when it comes to the aesthetics of Diggin Cafe. The place has both outdoor and indoor seating areas surrounded by a plethora of plants and topped with fairy lights making it very dreamy. You can find a variety of Continental and Italian cuisine here, but nothing too extraordinary. I would say go here for the ambience than the food.

My Rating: 5/5 for the ambience and 3/5 for the food
Cost for 2: 1200 INR
Location: Chanakyapuri & Anand Lok

United Coffee House

If you want to get a taste of royal dining with your boo, then head to this 80-year-old vintage restaurant. The interiors will remind you of the British era, and the food is delectable, especially the North-Indian and Mughal delights. The cost is slightly on the higher side. However, this restaurant is worth a try.

My Rating: 4/5
Cost for 2: 2000 INR
Location: E-15, Connaught Place

I believe that any place can be romantic with the right person. But a special date night (or day) never hurts. 😉
